In-depth sessions with international artists, brainstorming, drawing, and networking activities, and the international lifetime achievement award dedicated to the art of caricature — all in the breathtaking setting of Palazzo del Fumetto in Pordenone (Italy), for an unforgettable experience. Welcome to FACES!
FACES! is a 3-day festival dedicated to the art of caricature, taking place in Pordenone, Italy (a hidden cultural gem just one hour from Venice) from September 5th to 7th, 2025.
Over the course of just three days, we will focus on 7 intensive masterclasses led by prestigious and renowned artists from around the world.
The event is organized by Palazzo del Fumetto at its stunning venue: a nineteenth-century villa with an adjacent contemporary construction that serves as a modern art gallery.
In this edition, the heart of the event will be the MASTERCLASSES, led by outstanding caricature artists from around the world: Jason Seiler, Jorge Torrealba, Frank Federighi, Robin Schwarzman, George William, Ralf Ricker, and Benny Nicolini.
At the conclusion of the three-day event, a group excursion will be organized for all participants on Saturday afternoon. These will be days of intense learning, with time not only for drawing, but also for connecting, exchanging ideas, and networking with artists from around the world. Additionally, artists who wish to do so can volunteer on Sunday afternoon to create caricatures for visitors at the museum.
On Sunday, September 7th, the festival will open its doors to the city.
In addition to enjoying the event, the public will have the opportunity to purchase a caricature portrait created by one of the many participating artists.
In the heart of Pordenone, surrounded by the greenery of Villa Galvani, stands the Palazzo del Fumetto—one of the few cultural centers in Europe entirely dedicated to comics. Founded in 2018 as PAFF!, it now serves as a vibrant hub for fans, scholars, and curious minds of all ages. The museum features a permanent collection with original works by legends like Schulz, Pratt, Spiegelman, and Manara. Its interactive, multimedia exhibits make the experience accessible and engaging.
It also hosts courses, workshops, and events to promote comics as both art and educational tool.
